Butterflies in my Tummy

I have spent some time this morning deciding with reflection to share, and have chosen Psalm 22. Initially, I didn’t want to use one that exposed my feelings of distress, but then thought deeper. The opening line exposes the distress of one of the most famous kings ever, one who God deeply loved. That opening line was repeated by Christ on the cross. If David felt that way, and Christ felt way, maybe it’s okay that I did too. And maybe, just maybe it will resonate for someone in the audience. I also love that it talks about the faith of ancestors, especially since my mother will be there. The Reminders from God message this morning was really perfect, “Courage. Courage. Courage. Fear nothing. Rejoice even in the darkest place.”

Have a blessed day, and remember this, “You will be victorious. Again, and again and again.” (Reminder from Me).
