Unrecognized Beauty

This canna lily was sitting in my daughter’s yard in a dark spot for years. I tried a new location, but still not enough sun. This year, for the first time, it bloomed. Well worth the wait!

I am busy working on a project I have to finish today, so this one is two weeks old. The perseverance of this young girl was just amazing! None of the older kids did as well as she and her five to seven-year old friends.
