I can’t say I am really surprised that they chose not to include my story in their publication. I wasn’t sure my story was a good fit for them, but I sent it just in case.
Rejections, even polite ones, sting, make me question my decision to spend this year working on my writing. Instead of pouting and quitting, however, I press on. Today, I plan to finish editing my book and then begin the search for a good fit for my story.
